HVABSA BOARD OF DIRECTORS!!!
The Highland Village
Area Baseball & Softball Association is a non-profit organization that depends entirely on the work of volunteers to run
the league. Below you will find the names of our Board of Directors and commissioners. You can find
the teams and coaches in Sports Pilot.
We have elections for the board members every May.
The election for the 2011-2012 board is completed - there were no contested positions so no vote was necessary. The
new board will be seated on August 1.
Procedures: (1) Any HVABSA member may run for any board position whether filled or unfilled.
(2) Each new candidate must submit to the board a nomination ballot stating the position they are running for - the
ballot must be signed by five current HVABSA members. (3) Once all nominations are validated and consolidated,
a voting ballot will be published for any contested position. All HVABSA members will be asked to vote (one
vote per member). (4) Any position not filled through the voting process will be filled directly by a majority
vote of the remaining board members.
