aggressive base running, and super defense in route to its first tournament victory. This weekend's victory was a total team
effort. During play over the weekend the Storm outscored its opposition 49 to 16 over a 4 game period. The team has really
gelled at a unit since they were formed in August.
14U Storm Major Storms through the Fall!!!
The 14U Storm came out with a lot stronger pace than last year, already claiming three
pieces of hardware out of their first four tournaments. They were the Champions of the 14U Matt Dozier, 2nd place in the Fall
Round Up, 3rd place in the Tara Sawyer Tournament, and 2nd place in Fall Nationals Super NIT Tournament. In these four tournaments
you could see a high powered offense accompanied with an excellent job from their pitching staff complimented by very solid
defense. With these strong finishes the 14U Storm Crowder has claimed First Place in the USSSA National Power Rankings. (date
of article 17-Oct-2011)
The 10U Storm White got the
Fall Season off to a great start with a 2nd Place finish in the Cedar Hill Smash held recently averaging 11 runs per game.

10U Storm Red
Coach Short quote:
"The highlight of the spring 2011 season was our road trip to Omaha and the College World Series.
The team, parents, and siblings enjoyed the time spent together in Omaha June 23rd through the 26th. What an all around
great experience for everyone!! The boys played well against teams from Minnesota, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Nebraska."

| 2011 Triple Crown North Texas 14U Major State Champions |
Congratulations to the 14U Highland Village Storm Red team, who won the Triple
Crown North Texas State Tournament at Oak Grove Park in Grapevine this past weekend. They used clutch hitting in the
final game to erase a 10-5 deficit and beat the San Angelo A's in the bottom of the 7th inning, 14-13. To win the
title Sunday, the Storm had to rally in each game they played to beat the Waco Storm (11-10), the Weatherford Blue Jays
(12-11) and the San Angelo A's (14-13).

| 14U Highland Village Storm Red |
The Highland Village 14U Storm Red
team brought home the first place trophy in the 2011 USSSA Summer NIT Tournament in Flower Mound, TX. The team
went undefeated in the tournament using clutch hitting, averaging more than 8 runs a game, and stifling pitching, allowing 1 run per
game. The final score of the Championship Game was 10-2 against the North Texas Bulldogs.

10U Storm 2010 Triple Crown Omaha Slumpbuster Champions
Coach Lanz was quoted: The team, parents,
and siblings really enjoyed their trip and time spent together in Omaha June 23rd through 28th. Playing
in the Slump buster tournament, and having the opportunity to watch a College World Series game at Rosenblatt Stadium
in its final year was a great experience for the boys. The kids played great baseball throughout the tournament, and
all 11 boys contributed to make it a true team effort. The weekend was capped off Sunday afternoon with a 6 inning tightly fought 3-2 Championship game victory with
great pitching, timely hitting, and error free defense. It was a great weekend for all involved.
