***9U Storm Team Tryouts***

9U Storm tryouts will be held Sunday, Aug 1 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM with Makeup Tryouts on Aug 8 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Unity Park fields.  Please contact Rik Thrailkill at rcthrailkill@verizon.net and let him know if you will be at the tryouts. 

Highland Village Baseball is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Rik Thrailkill as the new 9U Storm coach that will begin play this fall season. Rik comes with a very extensive baseball background and this team is sure to come of the gate strong!!!

*** 14U Highland Village Storm Tryouts ***

The upcoming 14U Storm AAA Teams announce Fall season tryouts at Unity Park in Highland Village.  Tryouts will be held from 9:00-12:00, please be there early to check-in and warm up so we can start right at 9:00.  If you plan to attend the tryout, please email the coach with your contact information (player name, birthdate, phone #, address).

10u STORM 2010 Triple Crown Omaha Slumpbuster Champions

Coach Lanz was quoted:  The team, parents, and siblings really enjoyed their trip and time spent together in Omaha June 23^rd through 28^th. Playing in the Slump buster tournament,  and having the opportunity to watch a College World Series game at Rosenblatt Stadium in its final year was a great experience for the boys.  The kids played great baseball throughout the tournament, and all 11 boys contributed to make it a true team effort. The weekend was capped off Sunday afternoon with a 6 inning tightly fought 3-2 Championship game victory with great pitching, timely hitting, and error free  defense. It was a great weekend for all involved.

Tara Sawyer Championship, the Highland Village 13U Storm brought home first.  Head Coach Ringsdorff was quoted, "Thanks again to HVA for allowing us to play as part of the Storm......The picture is correct.....We had to play a full eight innings to get a winner......We scored the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning."
