ALL LEVELS WELCOME

Come see what softball is all about (or dust off your glove and get ready for the season).

We will have stations for all softball activities including:

Running, Sliding, Throwing, Hitting, Catching, Fielding

Softball is a great way to make friends, learn sportsmanship, be active and have A LOT OF FUN!

HVA Umpires

We will be having three umpire meetings this spring before the season starts. Umpires should plan on attending all three meetings. Returning umpires should come dressed in their full umpire uniform (navy umpire shirt, grey/dark pants, etc). All umpires (both new and returning) should plan on completing the umpire application and bringing it with you to one of the meetings. The application can be found on the hvabsa.com website under the 'Downloads & Links' section. Please arrive early for the meetings so we can get started on time.

The dates for the meetings are:
- Saturday, February 18th. 4pm - 6pm. The Backyard Dugout (located across the driveway from the outdoor batting cages that are behind the red field...on the opposite side of the Unity fields from Briarhill Middle School). We will be going over strike zone mechanics...if you have plate gear, bring it to this meeting. The Rules test will also be passed out in this meeting.
- Sunday, February 19th. 2pm - 5pm. Unity Baseball Fields. Meet by the concession stands. We will be going over on-field mechanics for the home plate and field umpire. Dress appropriately and bring something to drink while on the field.
- Saturday, February 25th. 4pm - 6pm. The Backyard Dugout. We will be going over the Rules Test.
